Procedures to change IP settings for HTML For customers using a standard modem "Dial-up" connection 1: Left click your mouse on the following in this sequence: Start Programs Accessories Communication Dial Up Networking HTML or HTMLnet 2: Left click your mouse on File, then Properties. The screen will display a set of tabbed displays. Left click on Networking or Server Types Tab (Depending on your windows version). 3: On this screen, the following boxes should be ticked: Enable Software Compression TCP/IP Check that only these boxes have been ticked. 4: A button to the right of the TCP/IP box is labelled TCP/IP settings. Left click this button to display the settings: Change the settings from the Old settings to the New settings as shown.Tick the boxes for the following options: Header Compression Use default gateway on remote network Left click OK the following on subsequent screens to save the changes you have made.
