Procedures to
change IP settings for HTML
For customers using a Network connection |

Left click your mouse on the following in this sequence:
Start
Settings
Control Panel
Network

The screen will display a set of tabbed displays. Left click on the
Configuration Tab. Drag the scroll bar on the Network Components Installed box
down until you reach
TCP/IP -> (network card) adaptor
Left click this component entry, then left click on the Properties button.

The TCP/IP Properties dialogue box appears, a set of tabbed displays. Select
the DNS Configuration tab. On this display, the DNS Server Search Order will
currently have one or two entries already. These are
203.102.219.16
203.102.219.17
Left click to select one of these, and click on the Remove button. If you have
both, select the next entry, and click on the Remove button. The DNS Server
Search Order box should now be empty.

Click in the box just below the DNS Server Search Order heading that contains
three dots. Click in the leftmost space. Enter the following string exactly
203.19.159.249
Left click the Add button.
Repeat Step 4 and enter the following string exactly
203.19.159.248
Left click the Add button
This updates your DNS settings to match the new HTMLnet configuration. |

Left click on the OK button to
close TCP/IP Properties.
Left click on the OK button to close and save the Network dialogue.
The system will update your system settings. This step may require your
original Windows 9X CD. Follow instructions on screen to load any drivers
requested.
The system should continue to shutdown and restart. If not, then close all open
programs, and reboot (Start / Shutdown / Restart) |
